Dec 30, 2021     Reevaluate and assess what's next - (4 hours) Category: Wings
Sat back and just looked at the wing to try to determine what's left before I put the top skin back on and drill the aileron mount hole (and wing tip nutplates).
Finally riveted the rest of the rear spar center holes because I determined that there was nothing going to be interfered with by doing so.
Re-put the locker door supports in place and found that the last rivet on each side doesn't line up anymore. (?!?) Since I had to rebuild that top rear support from scratch, I believe I must have drilled those 2 holes incorrectly (juuuust a little off, they don't line up exactly with the rest of the run for some reason). I'll drill them out (will be a bit oblong) and put in a backing plate for the rivet.
Found a few more adel camps that needed nylon washers so i replaced them. I also moved the nuts for the ones that are against the main spare (tip) so the nut is on the front side. The reasoning for this is that holding a wratchet on the front side is easier (to fit) than the large opening on the rear of the main spar where a longer screwdriver can fit (this will be readily accessable since I'm rigging the wingtips to be attached by nutplates vs rivets for full and easy access to the entire wingtip.
Shop cleanup and re-organize.
